The Trust wishes to receive expressions of interest for managing and operating a retail outlet in the main entrance of the Royal Hallamshire Hospital, located in the main entrance foyer across from a newsagent (Lot 1) and the Huntsman Building main entrance on the Northern General Hospital site, located in the main entrance next to an outpatient medication dispensing service (Lot 2). The Trust is wishing to assess the feasibility of a branded or non-branded outlet in relation to a coffee shop/café or a food and drink outlet. During the life of the lease/s the Trust will consider existing retail services and the assessment of the needs of patients, visitors and staff. The outcome of this will lead to a number of commercial retail opportunities across the organisation. The successful supplier along with other suppliers will be given the opportunity to participate in this process once it commences. A competitive dialogue process is envisaged for this tender. The Trust reserves the right to reduce the number of potential suppliers to be invited to the final invitation to tender stage. The Trust envisages a supplier will provide a high quality and customer focused service that generates an income for the Trust.
